Participants will gain an in-depth introduction to what a portfolio is and the purpose it serves for educators. Participants will examine samples of what comprises a portfolio, how to appropriately collect samples and record observations, and resources available to assist with planning based on observations. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the connection between compiling a portfolio and understanding a child’s individual development throughout the course of a year.
