Participants will define “mandated reporter” and “abuse” according to the State of Maryland’s definition and develop policies for preventing and reporting child abuse to be included in staff and parent handbooks. Participants will be able to identify signs and symptoms of bullying behaviors and victims’ behaviors and strategies to address bullying behavior and assist victims of bullying.

Core of Knowledge Area:  Health Safety and Nutrition (2 Hours) Level Beginner
